Entering its 25th year, the Berkshires Arts Festival has become a 4th of July summer tradition, attracting thousands of art lovers who come to the Berkshires for theater, dance, music, and art.

While most cultural events, such as Tanglewood, Jacob's Pillow, and the Berkshires Theatre Festival, take place in the evening, the Berkshires Arts Festival has become the chosen daytime attraction for thousands of visitors. Artists across the country have discovered a strong customer base for higher-priced work and the potential to produce significant sales.

RULES/REGULATIONS

Cancellation & Refunds:

All cancellations must be made in writing. No refunds will be given after April 1, 2025. A 50% refund will be given before that date. Call the AAM office to confirm if you have not received a cancellation confirmation via email within five (5) business days from your initial email request. 

 

Standards & Rules

• All work must be original in concept and created by the accepted applicant.

• All work must be made in the USA or Canada.

• All media of fine art & fine craft are accepted. 

• Participants must exhibit the type and quality of work shown in their slides. Items that are not acceptable are embellished or made from commercially available kits, plans, or patterns; imports; factory-made or assembled items; and mechanical reproductions or offset prints. 

• Booth sharing is not allowed unless approved by American Art Marketing.

• All booths must be enclosed on three sides (except corners) with a minimum height of 6ft. 

• Any willful violation or misrepresentation of the work defined in our rules will result in forfeiture of space.

PLEASE NOTE: ALL Notifications, Correspondence, Booth Fee Invoices, Payments,  etc., are processed through American Art Marketing's website, not ZAPP. Jury notification wil be emailed within three weeks of the application deadline.

Upper Lodge air-conditioned

1. OUTDOOR

Under your own canopy. Most booths are fairly level on grassy surfaces.

Electricity is available for demonstrating artists only.

2. UNDER LARGE WHITE TENTS

Under our Tent. Provide your own booth. 500 watts electricity included.

If you choose to be under one of our large tents, please be aware that we will be adjusting the position of the second tent. Due to the challenging terrain we work with, there may be only two tents instead of three, set up side by side with enough space in between for a comfortable flow of taffic. The second tent will accommodate more exhibitors. This change may result in fewer tented spaces, but it is necessary to ensure a comfortable and safe environment for everyone.

 

3. UPPER LODGE  (carpeted & air-conditioned)

Provide your own display. 500 watts of electricity included. 35 spaces available.

Most booths have a 7'6" height limit. There are height limitations throughout the Lodge. If you have a tall booth, please make a note on your application so we can address this as early as possible.
